Canoe Trips
Saturdays at 9 a.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Everyone ages 16 and up and children under 16 who have completed TAP sponsored Junior Canoe training and are accompanied by an adult can attend these guided canoe trips with an expert. Transportation back to the launch point along with canoes, paddles and personal floatation devices are provided. Wear weather appropriate attire including closed toed shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Please bring a lunch or snack in a waterproof container and a refillable water bottle.

Creek Cleanup Days
Volunteer to clean-up along the creek to make your community beautiful. Cleaner creeks benefit the efforts of the Clean Water Act, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), and the Clean Water Clear Choice program administered through Harris County's Public Infrastructure Department Storm Water Quality Section.

Guided Fishing Trips
Bring a fishing pole, tackle, and bait for a fun-filled afternoon at the park. An instructor will be available to answer questions and offer tips to beginner anglers. Dress for the weather and bring a snack and refillable water bottle. Catch and release only.

Junior Canoe Training
Budding canoeists ages 10 to 15 can gain experience and learn basic skills during this Junior Canoe Training. Once certified, junior canoeists may accompany an adult on Precinct 4-sponsored canoe trips. Transportation back to the launch point along with canoes, paddles and personal floatation devices are provided. Wear weather appropriate attire including closed toed shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Please bring a lunch or snack in a waterproof container and a refillable water bottle.
