Nature enthusiasts of all ages are invited to explore Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve by boat or land during the preserve's grand opening celebration Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Views of the lake, Cypress Creek, and wildlife such as egrets make this 80-acre preserve one of Precinct 4's most scenic greenspaces!

Join us for a fun-filled Shakespearean afternoon at one of Harris County’s most beautiful recreational areas! During the performances on Saturday, enjoy a variety of refreshments available for purchase from one of the food trucks present at the festival! Join family and friends for this FREE event with entertainment and live music, children’s crafts, face painting, games, and live Shakespeare performances.

Enjoy a fun-filled day of educational, family friendly activities in one of Harris County’s most beautiful parks! Visit recreated confederate and union camps to learn about Civil War era lifestyles. Also take guided tours to discover the history of the recently discovered Spring Creek Park Cemetery. The festival will feature Civil War battle re-enactments, cultural demonstrations, food trucks, archaeology digs, and more! This is a FREE event.

Description:

The season is here, calling all the strawberry lovers! Better than candy and organically grown pesticide free, red strawberries. Come and enjoy a day with some friends at Froberg’s farm picking your own strawberries. Enjoy lunch with the group at Cheddars, which serves a great variety of foods. Lunch is not included in the ticket cost; participants are responsible for their own meals. Click here to register.
