CALLING ALL HISTORY ENTHUSIASTS
Harris County Precinct 4 is recruiting re-enactors to participate in the Battle for the Powder Mill during its third annual Spring Creek Park Heritage Festival Saturday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Positions in the Union and Confederate infantry, cavalry, and dismounted cavalry are available. Multiple artillery pieces are also needed for re-enactments and civilian demonstrations.
Precinct 4 will distribute gun powder to all units and provide lunch. Overnight tent camping is available Friday and Saturday nights. A limited number of RV sites are also available by reservation.
