Join Mangum-Howell Community Center staff member Theresa Tran as she provides a step-by-step
demonstration for making delicious spring rolls.
Unlike egg rolls, which are usually deep fried and more fattening, spring rolls are filled with fresh
ingredients including carrots, bean sprouts, and other vegetables. Theresa will show you how to make spring
rolls filled with shrimp, pork, or tofu. You will also learn how to make a perfect peanut sauce for dipping.
Bring your appetite and a pencil and paper to jot down the
recipe. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn a new recipe for
healthy eating! Class size is limited, so stop by the Center or call
281-591-7830 to register. A $2 suggested donation covers the
cost of the ingredients.
