Tomball’s new high-tech Walmart donated $3,500 to Precinct 4’s Fun4Seniors nonprofit, which helps fund low-cost programs and bus trips for senior adults over 50.

"Since 1999, Fun4Seniors has existed to provide unique, enriching and entertaining activities for adults 50 years of age and older,” said Jan Sexton, director of Precinct 4’s community centers and Senior Adult Program. “Fun4Seniors plans its events and subsidizes the overall costs, so there is little or no cost for senior adults to participate."

Fun4Seniors events include bridge tournaments, dances, concerts, luncheons with live entertainment, and discount tickets to theatrical and sporting events. Precinct 4 also provides recreational day trips to locations including museums, festivals, and attractions in and around southeast Texas. Buses depart weekly from neighborhoods throughout Precinct 4. For a complete listing of events, please visit http://apps.hcp4.net/sapevents/ or call the Senior Adult Program at 281-893-3726 for more information.
