The John Paul Landing Environmental Education Center features an up-close look at the wildlife and ecology of the area through displays and activities. The Discovery Room, created especially for kids, provides opportunities for hands-on nature exploration. School-aged visitors are invited to participate in A Closer Look at Nature and Discovery Days classes. Older children and adults can enjoy Backyard Naturalists, nature discussion groups, weekly bird walks, and more. Volunteers at John Paul Landing complete projects such as constructing bird feeders, center displays and activities, and other park projects.
