Spanning 232 acres, Paul D. Rushing Park offers over 2 miles of asphalt trails leading into and over wooden bridges and pathways showcasing teeming wetlands. Traverse the trails while birdwatching for local and migratory birds residing in or visiting hte park's shallow lakes. Amenities include baseball/softball fields, cricket fields, a dog park, lakes, picnic areas, and playgrounds. The park was named for well-renowned engineer, Paul D. Rushing, Texas A&M graduate who created many infrastructure projects throughout the region.
