Bane Park

Bane Park is a 18.2-acre facility with barbecue grills, picnic pavilions, picnic tables, two lighted ball fields, a five-acre wheelchair-accessible fishing lake*, gazebo, horseshoe pits, paved walking trail, playground, rock climbing wall, sand volleyball court, splash pad, and rest room facilities.

*Swimming, boats, canoes, and kayaks are not permitted in lakes or ponds.


The lake at Bane Park is stocked each year with rainbow trout by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and also contains bluegill, channel catfish, and largemouth bass. Catch-and-release fishing is encouraged.

*Private use of the sports fields requires prior permission from the sports association. Information on cancellations or changes of all sports association practice/game schedules occurring on sports fields in Precinct 4 parks must be directed to the individual association: Sports associations do not provide Precinct 4 with game schedules, cancellations, or changes of their activities.

Free Movie Nights

Precinct 4 welcomes the community to enjoy a free movie, snack, and activity at Bane Park on select nights beginning at dusk. Early arrival is recommended to get a good location for your blanket and lawn chairs. Light refreshments will be provided. Visit for all Movie Night event details.

Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday hours vary depending on league schedule

Precinct 4 parks are open every day except: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
