The Mathews Park basketball court will be closed until approximately Nov. 19 for renovations and updates.
Mathews Park is a 6-acre facility with one lighted softball field, one lighted basketball pavilion, one unlighted basketball court, one volleyball court, a barbecue pavilion, a community building, a playground, picnic tables, barbecue grills, a 1/3-mile paved trail, and restroom facilities.
A community building within Mathews Park offers an activity room with a kitchen, and the outdoor area offers a barbecue pit and gazebo with electricity. The community building can accommodate a group of up to 75 people and may be reserved for a maximum of five hours a day.

No reservations required; use is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Monday through Friday after 3:30 p.m.:
First-come, first-served reservations required; only one two-hour session per week can be reserved in the following hourly increments
3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday:
Ball field is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis during the park’s hours of operation. Reservations are not required.
